Joelle Hannah Fletcher (born November 1, 1990) is a real estate developer and American television personality, who is best known for her role as a contestant on the twentieth season of ABC's The Bachelor and as the lead on the twelfth season of The Bachelorette.

Personal life[edit]

Fletcher was born in Dallas, Texas. She is the only child of physician parents. Her mother is from Iran. Fletcher has three older half-brothers and a half-sister.[1][2] Prior to going into real estate, Fletcher was a pre-med major at Baylor University.[3].

Ready for Love[edit]

Fletcher previously appeared in the first episode of Ready for Love, on which her half-brother, Ben Patton, was starring.[4]

The Bachelor[edit]

Fletcher was a contestant on Ben Higgins's season of The Bachelor. Higgins confessed love for both her and Lauren Bushnell, but ultimately chose Bushnell in finale.[5]

The Bachelorette[edit]

Fletcher was announced as the Bachelorette on March 14, 2016, during After the Final Rose.[6] In the end Fletcher chose former pro-quarterback Jordan Rodgers over runner-up Robby Hayes.[7] The couple currently resides in Dallas, Texas.[8]

The Bachelor Winter Games[edit]

Fletcher appeared in one episode of The Bachelor Winter Games where she judged a kissing contest along with Rachel Lindsay and Arie Luyendyk.[9]


In April 2018, Fletcher started working with Marcus by Goldman Sachs as a new ambassador for home improvement loans. Fletcher's appearances will include interviews as a home-renovation expert.[10]

In June 2018, Fletcher announced that she was launching her own clothing line, Fletch.[11][12]

In September 2018, it was announced that Fletcher and her fiancé, Jordan Rodgers, would appear in a Kin web series Engaged with JoJo and Jordan, described as a combination of reality TV and DIY home decor.[13] The following January Fletcher revealed that she and Rodgers would host a home renovation television show on CNBC, tentatively called Cash Pad, later in the year.[14]
